Alexandra Inyama has been a registered midwife for 8 years in a variety of settings. She has had experience of working in a midwife led birth centre, facilitating normal birth as well as working on a consultant led labour ward, helping women with medical or obstetric problems to safely birth their babies. She then went on to have her own family and experienced a pool birth and then a home birth.
Biography
She works part time in an NHS community setting, supporting women and their families in the antenatal and postnatal period alongside shifts on a high risk labour ward, assisting women having vaginal and caesarean births. As a breastfeeding champion within her community team she can offer as much support as needed with feeding your baby and she will be able to refer to a IBLC if further support is required.
