Dr Saleem is currently working as full-time consultant in Respiratory Medicine in NHS England.
Dr Saleem provides consultations for adult respiratory patients and his areas of special interests are COPD, TB, lung cancer, lung nodules, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) TBNA.
Dr Saleem has been working in the field of respiratory medicine since 2006. His first consultant appointment in UK was in 2014. He has participated in various national and international trials and clinical audits. He has also published various case reports, studies and articles in the field of respiratory medicine.
Dr Saleem also has keen interest in teaching and training. He has supervised many under graduate medical students, junior doctors and post-graduate respiratory trainees.
Education
After completing his graduation in 2002, from University of The Punjab, Pakistan, Dr Saleem entered into post-graduate training program in internal medicine and then in respiratory medicine. In 2010 he moved to UK and completed further training in respiratory medicine. He gained his experience in interventional bronchoscopy from UCLH and developed EBUS service at Bedford DGH in 2018.

BSc, MBBS, MCPS Medicine (Pak), MRCP (UK), FCPS Pulmonology (Pak), FRCP (Glasg), FCCP (US), European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine, Speciality Certificate in Respiratory Medicine (RCP UK).
