Laura found getting back into Yoga helped immensely when dealing with grief in her life and was excited to start her teacher training and new career. Focusing on gentle postures, breathing exercises and meditation, her main aim is always for her Yogi’s to go away feeling as relaxed as possible. Laura is a gentle guider, welcoming everyone to her classes and invites you to focus on the breath, body and movement whilst relaxing and letting go.
Education
Laura studied fashion in her early twenties and specialised in Footwear Design for many years. This was a great time in her life where she got to travel the world, seeing her designs transformed to factories and then shops. Several years later, looking for a career change, Laura took up Hatha Yoga teacher training with YMCA and then studied Pregnancy yoga when pregnant with her 1st child, wanting to deepen her understanding of keeping the body active in pregnancy and birth. Whilst pregnant Laura also completed Baby Yoga and Baby massage training, and then further studied Postnatal Yoga.

Biography
I am very passionate about teaching Pregnancy Yoga. I love hearing new Mums excitement, allowing them the space to share their feelings and anxieties and giving them confidence with knowledge to birth their baby, their way. I did my pregnancy teacher training when I was 32 weeks pregnant and want to encourage women to feel empowered going into labour and even into the 4th trimester (once baby is here). Being pregnant is such a special time, but naturally hormones, queries and uncertainty arise. I aim for my yogi's to feel happy, confident, understanding their bodies and enjoying my classes.
