Nikki is passionate about midwifery care and has been qualified & practising as a Midwife since 1989. She has continued to develop professionally, undertaking recognised courses to ensure her practice is research based. She has spoken at the AVMA Conference in 2010 & at a Clinical Negligence Seminar in 2012 about ‘Common Mistakes in Midwifery Care’. She assisted in organising a conference for the Birth Trauma Association in 2009 on ‘Perineal Trauma – Time to rethink Practice’.

Biography
She worked with Dettol as their Expert Midwife when they launched their National ‘Mission for Health’ Campaign in 2011 & she co-authored the 'My Pregnancy' DK Book in 2011. Nikki assisted in an advisory role with the publication of a Government 'White-Paper' on Pre-conceptual Care for the Seven Seas pharmaceutical company in 2013. She also works with the British Coffee Association analysing new research in pregnancy & postnatal period! Nikki has also written various articles for Health Journals .
